Burridge Cricket Club has joined an elite band of some 400 clubs in England and Wales to be accredited as a leading centre for the development of young cricketers.

The England and Wales Cricket Board’s Clubmark accreditation is awarded in conjunction with Sport England and confirms Burridge’s position as a club delivering high quality community cricket, particularly in helping to develop young cricketers.

Burridge Cricket Club is now planning to implement further links with local schools and community groups to provide cricket for youngsters. The Clubmark award demonstrates that Burridge is a safe, effective and child-friendly club.
