| This was another game in the warm sunshine but this week amongst the Forest ponies. Levi, Ali and Alex were all back which gave a changed but strong bowling attack. Cadnam won the toss and chose to field. It looked like a good call as Burridge slumped to 29-3. Jeff was looking set until he dragged on an under edge. Craig got an exciting 16 but then missed a straight one. Cadnam were obviously pleased at 69-5 off 18 but the skipper and Alex had other ideas. Alex was first to reach his first ever 50 and Glyn reached his first 50 soon after. A partnership of 113 changed the game. Levi and Ali took us passed the 200 with wickets in hand. Cadnam had a steady start but the wickets fell at regular intervals with all the bowlers chipping in. The result was inevitable once Ali took 2 in his second spell and Levi and Imran finished off the tail. The day ended as it had started in warm sunshine and Burridge were back on the win trail with maximum points | |||||||||
