RESULT Burridge won by 69 runs Burridge 24 points
St Cross 8 points
A very solid performance against an under strength St Cross and a much deserved win. Having won the toss Burridge elected to bat and John and Dan got off to a good start. Highlights of the batting were George in his first game of the season, Ben with a steady 30 and that man again Will with another unbeaten score this time reaching 55. Lets hope his good fortune continues. St Cross never looked likely to reach the target and wickets fell at regular intervals to a point where they were at 88 for 8. However they rallied and stubbornly finished on 161 all out. Jack and Ali bowled well but on debut Levi was the star taking 4 for 32. His leg spin did add a new dimension to the bowling attack. A good all round team performance but there are tougher opposition to come
