This was one of those must win games if Burridge were going to put pressure on the top three. Unfortunately Dave was run out from a poor call(this week not last week as reported) John moved to three and made an important score before top edging on the sweep. Luke and Alex both played well but Morrison's loopy spin slowed the scoring and induced some poor shots. A total of 192 was acceptable with a strong bowling attack. John was back and Paul albeit still stiff from the previous week. However despite some good bowling, note only 9 extras, Burridge had no luck and the wickets never came. All in all a very frustrating afternoon and Burridge slipped back in the league with three other teams played 8 won 4 lost 4. Lovely weather and the pitch was agood as it has been for a number of years.
